The Elizabeth Hart Dalton Memorial Scholarship

2026 Elizabeth Hart Dalton Scholarship applications are due May 31st, 2026

THANKS TO THE DALTON FAMILY, WE OFFER EFVA SCHOLARSHIPS. 

Vision: The recipient of the Elizabeth Hart Dalton Memorial Scholarship is a student who has shown courage in dealing with epilepsy and seizures, commitment to their education, and perseverance in eliminating the obstacles that epilepsy and seizures may present. Scholarships in the amount of $2,500 are awarded to selected students. There have been ten recipients of this scholarship so far.

About the Scholarship

The Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia 2026 scholarship requirements are:

• Is currently under a physician's care for epilepsy/seizures (i.e. neurological seizures);

• Is currently undergoing treatment and/or taking anticonvulsant medication(s);

• Can demonstrate their struggle to overcome adversity because of their epilepsy/seizures;

• Attends 12 grade in high school or is a college freshman entering their Fall semester;

• Lives in Virginia.
